Wrought Iron Gate. Edwardian. Blacksmith Made. No Welding. 33”x 59” CHEAP to clear!
£ 140
Proper wrought iron, not bent and welded steel. Probably made around 1900. Good condition; a little rust at the bottom as you would expect. There are the remains of a strip of rubber at the bottom which should be removed. The gate is designed with only one hinge, which is made to be set into a wall. At the bottom the vertical spigot sits in a hole in the ground and the gate pivots on that. I bought it for £300 from a salvage yard but I have changed my mind about having a gate. Very cheap to clear: only £140.
