An Antique Georgian fireplace surround in white Statuary and Connemara marble with delicately carved urn to centre and endblocks with bellflower drops,Further floral carvings are seen on the panelled jambs. The breakfront shelf surmounts dentil moulding. The elegant Statuary marble piece is complemented by 2 green Verdu marble bands to the frieze and perimeter of the opening. Connemara marble, also known as Irish Green, is a rare stone from Western Ireland.
