Jowett Stone has a proud history of providing natural Yorkshire stone of the highest quality. Tom, one of the company's directors, comes from a long line of quarrymen and his great grandfather, Ernest Jowett, owned Bank Top Quarry at Bingley. Tom has over 10 years experience in the stone industry and has demolished some of the county’s great lost houses, rescuing some of their increasingly rare and beautiful architecture to offer for sale at their main reclamation yard.
The stone yard in Bradford, is open to both the public and trade. You will find York stone paving, all types of walling stone, heads and cills, copings and some fine pieces of architectural salvage. Stone dressers are also on hand to help match the stone you need for your project.
