South London Wood Recycling Project is a not-for-profit social enterprise that specialises in working with wood that would otherwise go to landfill - rescuing between 60 to 100 tonnes of timber every month. Offering wood collections, timber sales, and bespoke furniture from the workshop, which undertakes a range of commissions using the timber. Workshops for children and volunteering opportunities help grow and share the team’s skillset and encourage the benefits of reuse and upcycling in the community.
