Linley Sambourne House

From 1875, 18 Stafford Terrace was the home of Punch cartoonist Edward Linley Sambourne, his wife Marion, their two children and their live-in servants. Today, the house is recognised as the best surviving example of a late Victorian middle-class home in the UK. It is remarkably well preserved and complete with its original interior decoration and contents. Highlights of the house include numerous William Morris wallpapers, stained and coloured glass and the stunning drawing-room at first floor level.
