The Association of Preservation Technology
APT DC is a not-for-profit educational association founded in 1980 to serve the needs of preservationists in the greater Washington DC metro area. APT DC is a local chapter of the Association for Preservation Technology International (APTI). APTI was founded in 1968 to disseminate information on historic building materials and systems and to promote development of preservation technology.
