A well constructed pair of antique octagonal iron lanterns. English, approx early 20th century.Cleaned, reglazed using late 19th century sash window glass, rewired. Retaining original ceiling roses / hanging loops and chain and unusual hooks between the chain and lantern loops(see blog photos for close ups).
Dimensions in inches/cms;
12/31 max diameter
19/48 tall to top of lantern loops.
The overall drop from ceiling to base of lanterns is;
47/119 for one lantern and 37/94 for the other shorter chained one.This could of course be altered.
