Balterley Romana syphonic double trap toilet

Hi I am looking for a 1980s/1990s Balterley Romana syphonic double trap close coupled toilet with a matching basin and bidet to restore and resell as these are no longer made.

These were made during the 1980s all the way into the 1990s and was sold in Burgundy, sepia brown, white and other colours plus with floral patterns.

It was discontinued around the mid 1990s so these are now no longer manufactured.

The production of these were from 1980s all the way to mid 1990s and was designed to be flushed on 9 litres and 7.5 litres.

This toilet requires a special fitting which is called an aspirator which fits directly into the syphon flush valve in order to flush properly.

There is a small hole inside the inlet hole on the pan where the cistern sits on which indicates this uses an aspirator fitting.

There is generally more water inside the pan and may appear to look blocked, however this syphonic double trap toilet relies on suction which sucks water down when it flushes, however if the aspirator fails what happens is, water will raise and then drain away slowly.

Please note that I am unable to take large items such as baths as well but I do take sanitary ware by Qualitas, Twyfords, Shires, Balterley etc in any colour and floral patterns etc etc.

This suite is extremely rare and they are no longer manufactured, please note I will accept any colour with and without patterns as long as they are not cracked and chipped.

If you happen to have one which you don't want, please feel free to email me at [email protected] and I will get back to you, but please note I cannot accept damaged items.

Photos of the actual toilet is shown here and under the cistern lid will have Balterley Bathrooms underneath it.

The toilet cistern lid has cut corners and the pan has Victorian moulded lines on the base of the pan and is quite deep looking.

The photos that show the burgundy toilet and the white toilet with the black seat is the Balterley Romana syphonic double trap suite which the toilet I am after.

Please also note that I will also accept syphonic double trap toilets by Armitage Shanks and Twyfords and other makes as well.

Many thanks.
