19th Century Framed Acid Etched Glass – Urn Design RWI9288
£ 495 inc VAT
This beautiful 19th Century acid etched glass panel is a fine example. Acid etched glass was a popular decorative and practical feature used on front door panels, internal doors, windows, skylights, and even mirrors. The etched glass offered privacy without sacrificing natural light, essential in Victorian homes with limited lighting. Designs were varied, featuring natural motifs like leaves, flowers, birds, and vines. This large panel is framed with a beautiful design depicting a flower filled urn surrounded with a pretty vine border. The panel could be incorporated into a door or window, or just hung as an attractive decorative feature.
