An antique brass and cast iron lamp adapted from an old shop fitting, with square reeded stem (faded silver plated brass) and stepped cast iron base in original black paint. English, 1920s-40s.
Base marked to underside.
All rubbed up, polished, waxed, rewired with 2.5m fabric flex, patinated brass safety-switched lampholder and traditional phenolic plug. Pat tested.
Dimensions in inches/cms;
18.5"/46.5cm tall inc. lampholder.
6"/15cm square base.
1.44kg.
