Balterley Shell Satsuma MK2 toilet 1987/1994
Hi this is the exact toilet that I am looking for. I am happy with any colour as I restore these to resell due to the rarity of them and there are other versions of the Balterley Shell MK2 toilet which feature other floral patterns on it which I am also interested in as well.
The photos here show a Balterley Shell MK2 toilet with the Satsuma floral print design on the pan and cistern.
The cistern is tapered and under the lid has Balterley Shell engraved on it, the pan has Pan/SH on the right hand side, this indicates it is part of the Shell suite, however it doesn't have Balterley stamped on it but it is Balterley.
This retro shell bathroom suite is no longer made anymore and now getting harder to find.
These were common in the late 1980s and were still available during the early 1990s before they were discontinued around 1994.
If anyone has one to get rid of please feel free to message me via email and I will let you know regards to which dates I am available to buy and collect.
I would be really happy to see some photos of the toilet and the rest of the suite if you have one that you are planning to get rid of.
There are also date stamps in the cistern, under the pan, behind the basin pedestal and under the basin as well which will determine who old it is and when it was manufactured.
I also accept the original toilet seat as well as it's quite hard to find a suitable matching plastic seat for these now.
I also take matching Balterley Shell basins, bidets and accessories too.
No bath tubs unfortunately.
