1920s Faux Tortoise Shell Lamp

A large antique 1920s turned beechwood lamp with painted faux tortoiseshell finish, the fluted hexagonal baluster stem above a stylised lotus leaf base.
Cleaned and in good condition (tip of one of the carved leaves above the base missing-see closeup photo).
Rewired with 3m fabric flex, patinated brass safety-switched lamp (and mounting fittings) and traditional plug.
A fresh quality fabric base has been applied.
Dimensions in inches/cms;
27"/89cm tall.
