Reeded Brass & Ebony Lamp

A fine antique table lamp with tapered reeded brass knopped stem and ebony base. English, early 20th century.
In super condition and excellent quality with cast brass parts and finely grained ebony base - the underside of which has been sanded very smooth so can be used without a cloth base.
The brass has been fully polished and could be kept that way with the occasional light hand polish (brasso!) or left to age gracefully.
Rewired using the original switched lampholder, 3 meters (exposed) "havana gold" flex and a traditional style hard plastic plug.
Dimensions in inches/cms;
16.5"/42cm tall by 5.375"/13.75cm base diameter.
Weight is approx. 2.25kg.
