This Parisian garden is divided into two distinct spaces.

  • The upper section features a semi-buried antique stone vat, creating a water feature surrounded by lush plant beds that will evolve with the seasons. The remaining grass-covered area provides a natural backdrop for the plants while promoting rainwater infiltration and biodiversity.
  • The lower section serves as a seamless transition between this green haven and the house, with a terrace paved with antique cobblestones that invites relaxation. The joints have been deliberately widened and filled with soil to allow grass to grow between the stones over time, enhancing the garden’s authentic and natural look.

Connecting these two levels is a limestone retaining wall adorned with antique steps that blend seamlessly into the space, enhancing its authenticity. The wall’s edging consists of the same antique steps, laid vertically. On top of the wall, a thin natural stone step provide additional seating.
