Filthy Garden SOS meets desperate owners whose out of control gardens are more dumpsite or jungle than sanctuary so when this Channel 5 extreme gardening show needed some Yorkshire stone to help transform a garden in Leeds, we were more than happy to help!

A couple had taken on the challenge of building their dream home, but faced a huge challenge when it came to the exterior, so called in the expert Filthy Garden crew, award-winning garden designer Diarmuid Gavin, fellow designer and community garden champion Danny Clarke and Penny Lamb, who has the power tools to transform any landscape.

The garden design called for two beautiful pillars to create an impressive focal point, which the team were keen to build using locally sourced materials. That’s where we came in with our reclaimed random walling stone.

After some extremely hard work, the end result was stunning!

Reclaimed random walling stone is versatile and durable and can be used in many projects. It is commonly found in the North East of England, typically around County Durham, Northumberland and North Yorkshire.

We supply the stone in random sizes backed off at approximately 140mm on bed ready to be walled. Each stone is entirely unique, allowing the builder to create an individualised and random finish, which is perfect for landscape work and rural buildings.
