The highlight of the next Summers Place Auctions will be a rare pair of Nymph and Satyr sculptures by celebrated sculptor Charles Sargeant Jagger. The sculptures were sold at Sotheby's in Billingshurst almost twenty years ago and are now coming up for auction again at Summers Place Auctions on Tuesday, 11th June 2019. The three and a half metre high Portland stone groups of a nymph and satyr are expected to sell as one lot for £200,000 to 400,000.

Image three: Lots 36: A rare Coalbrookdale cast iron occasional table late quarter 19th century with diamond registration stamp and number with later marble top but with original bronzed finish. 60cm diameter. Estimate £2,000 - £4,000.
 
Image four: Lot 29: A pair of carved white marble urns. Italian, late 19th century. 86cm high, on later composition stone pedestals. 163cm high overall. Estimate £3,000 to £5,000.
 
Image five: Lot 26: A substantial carved sandstone sundial. French, late 18th/early 19th century. The octagonal top with bronze gnomen and points of the compass obelisk. Estimate £1,500 to £2,500.
 
Image six: Lot 11: Tables: A carved white marble gueridon with circular red veined marble top. 19th century. 60cm diameter. A similar but not identical gueridon is illustrated in Thomas Hope’s Household Furniture and Interior Decoration, 1807.
