Sue Ede and Peter Hodder have found the perfect location for their new fair at Bruton, Somerset, currently a beacon of art and design with the advent of Hauser & Wirth Gallery and an influx of media types keen to experience the good life in a sophisticated rural setting. The Daily Telegraph called Bruton the town that celebrities just can't keep away from - a magnet for the wealthy and glamorous.
 
Exhibitors include The Factory, a Castle Cary collective founded by David Tupman Antiques including Brighton dealer Jill Palmer, Pimlico dealer Christopher Butterworth, London dealer Derek Greengrass and from Ashburton, Devon, Roger Organ. Devon dealer Violet Grey specialise in antiques and decorative pieces for the garden and conservatory. Kent dealers Elham Antiques bring more garden and architectural pieces and unusual painted furniture.
From Sussex will be No.1 Lewes, a decorative specialist at the forefront of the market.
 
Hollywood Regency is a new design style for interior and landscapes characterized by the bold use of color and contrast often with metallic and glass accents meant to signify opulence and comfort which exhibitors Oscar Collective and Twentieth Century Glamour, specialise.
 
From Fulham, John Wiseman has decorative and architectural salvage sourced mainly from period London buildings, Simon Wharton from Somerset will be showing architectural reclamation particularly fireplaces and decorative antiques mainly from France.
 
Bruton Decorative Antiques Fair will take place 14th -16th October 2016, and will be opened by Mark Hill at 10am on Saturday, 15th October.
