Wellers Fine Art Ltd is pleased to announce that Luke Duddy will be heading up its architectural salvage and garden statuary auction department following Terry Wright's decision to leave the company. Luke joined Wellers in 2008 and has been Terry's assistant for a number of years. He has been heavily involved in the management of auctions both on clients' and our own premises.
 
Luke is an auctioneer of several years standing and will be recognised by many having sold at all of the auction sales on clients' premises since 2013. Luke also regularly conducts sales of antiques and jewellery at our Guildford saleroom.
 
The architectural department was originally set up as an offshoot of the Guildford Market farm sale department by Glen Snelgar in 1988; Terry became head of that department in 2012 and has now decided to move abroad.
 
Wellers will continue to offer all the skill and expertise that it has become so well known for over the years to both to the architectural salvage trade and private customers. The ongoing auction business will be based and managed from the Guildford saleroom following Wellers decision to close the Milton Keynes based timed auction operation.
