To make room for new stock, MASCo Architectural Salvage is holding an 850 lot sale on 18th October on its premises near Stroud in Gloucestershire. The rebrand to 'Vintage & Architectural' will see the business focus more on unique bathrooms, timber flooring, hardware, vintage furniture and decorative garden items, along with antique radiators and antique floor tiles from its sister companies.
 
The auction contains a huge amount of architectural and garden salvage and reclaimed materials. Star lots include a Victorian Greek revival fire surround with a decorative frieze, high estimate £2,500, two 19th century French decorative pine panelled rooms high estimates of £6,000 and £8,000 each and a fully renovated 1940s Showmans Wagon featured on George Clarke's Amazing Spaces, estimate £15,000-£20,000.
 
Also of note is a composition Cotswold stone folly style temple 314cm high and 242cm diameter, estimate £2000-£3000. There are ten lots of five seat rows of red velour cinema seats ranging from £150-£450 each, an iron and steel bridge incorporating 19th century materials £8,000 and two lots of heavy duty cast iron Victorian gates £5,000 each. Look out for a large Georgian style cast iron fireback estimate £200-£400 and a large haberdashery cabinet of oak and ply with 24 glass front drawers £600-£800.
