First timer at Salvo Fair, Mike Davis of Beechfield Reclamation, sold a Royal Doulton shower bath complete with an original finely worked grey-streaked white marble base for the ticket price of several thousand pounds within five minutes of the Salvo Fair 2013 trade day opening.

Mike Davis won a £1,000 Salvo Credit in the draw for completed MiniRec Surveys for the BRE and Defra in 2012. He decided to spend the money on a SalvoSITE, but then changed tack and booked a Salvo Fair stand instead.

Later that day Beechfield Rec sold an oak-clad and lined thatched shepherd's hut on wheels with rubber tyres brought to the fair on a car transporter by Oakwood Recovery of Corsham. Two buyers vied over this hut which sold for its ticket price of £7,200.
