The fifth episode of Amazing Spaces, presented by George Clark, the Restoration Man, was aired this week. The series explores the idea of building and renovating small spaces as holiday homes, office spaces and guest rooms in the garden. This episode features Andy Triplow, aka the radiator king, from The Old Radiator Company and his showmans wagon, and also a beach hut and an amy truck.
 
Throughout the series, George Clark is renovating his own caravan and in this episode visits Salvo Fair, held in June 2012, to find bits and bobs to put in it. He stumbles across Rod Donaldson from Source Antiques and buys a 1950s kitchen unit. The unit ends up on a hinged frame so it can swing out of the caravan onto a deck projecting out into the open.
