Brazil - Artist craftsman, Domingos Tótora, believes that sustainability happens through actions not words. In a certified sustainable process old cardboard is pulped into papier maché, moulded by hand, dried in the sun and hand-finished to perfection.

Tótora comes from Maria da Fe, Minas Gerais, Brazil. He studied design in Sao Paulo. The landscape around his native town and a passion for nature inspire his work in which beauty and function combine.

Touch in Los Angeles, run by Zoë Melo, represents emerging designers making handmade eco-friendly object and acts as Tótora's USA agent.
