Arc Reclamation has a large stock of old wooden doors and a workshop equipped to resize, square up and repair antique softwood doors for customers, including adding pegs to joints between rails and stiles, adding modern locks, insulation and sacrificial wearing oak foot to underside of bottom rail. Safety glass can be fitted as required. Doors can be hand-stripped (not dipped) and traditional shellac varnishes applied for knot stopping. Arc Reclamation has 1,000 doors in stock, along with 300 tonnes of architectural salvage.
