Maitland & Poate is a go-to for antique and reclaimed encaustic tiles. Originally sourcing reclaimed encaustic tiles to add a bit of sun baked Andalucía to their London home, the family-run business grew from there. The wide variety and depth of colours in the patterned tiles display each tiles’ unique qualities and proudly speak of a previous life and a handcrafted heritage; discovered in a wide variety of ancient farmhouses, Cortijo’s, Parador’s, Hacienda’s and distinctive homes throughout Spain, Belgium and France.
Select from designs, which include both reclaimed and new handmade encaustic cement tiles to create a unique statement floor. They also offer a traditional Lime paint range made from a purely natural composition with eco-friendly credentials (VOC and solvent free).
