Lawsons Timber

Established in 1940 Lawson’s yard is a third generation family business that specialise in the supply of reclaimed and new timber, from sourcing to delivery everything is taken care of in-house.

All products are manufactured at their sawmill in Ormskirk, Lancashire by a team of fully qualified joiners who combine handcrafted techniques with machine work to transform the timber into bespoke flooring, cladding, doors and furniture.

The three acre site offers timber salvaged from ancient French barns to industrial boards salvaged from Victorian cotton mills and factories. Cladding is supplied ready to fit; all boards are graded for quality, sanded and refurbished with all bad ends trimmed off. Reclaimed flooring is made with salvaged timber which is cut to make into their engineered floorboard ranges, with every board being handworked. Also stocking a selection of vintage furniture and reclaimed timber table tops that are ideal for bars, counters, worktops or kitchen islands.
