Demolition Alert: 100 1930s square-leaded crittal steel windows
Approximately 100 windows of various shapes and sizes, all originals from the construction of the house circa 1930. Generally in very good working condition, with minor paint flaking on some of the window frames and a couple of cracked individual panes. Most of the opening windows are either fitted with Chubb window locks or bolted shut with removable bolts. A few of the windows have opaque glazing. The secondary glazing is fitted to most of the windows and comprises sliding panels for access to opening windows (the panels can also be removed easily). The photos show close-ups of one unit as an example. Full details of the individual window sizes and specs etc are available on request. Scheduled to be removed in March/April 2022. Preference is to sell them all as a single lot and any offer will be considered.
