A substantial cast iron fireplace surround in the Neoclassical style with a wide shelf above a fluted frieze centered by a floral panel. The antique piece has large roundels on the end-blocks above jambs fronted by pairs of twin tapering, stop-fluted pillars with ornate capitals on either side of the egg and dart framed opening.
