We're having a clear-out and have found two very old part-glazed wall panels that were removed from a wall here during renovations many years ago. We think they're Edwardian (circa 1900), possibly earlier. They've been craftsman-made with proper joinery throughout and are in a softwood.Dimensions: 2135mm h x 485mm w x 45mm d. Five of the six panes are intact with no cracking. One of the bottom rectangular panes is missing. Although the condition of the wood is excellent, there is a small amount of damage to the base of one of the panels which a good joiner would be able to repair prior to re-painting and fitting. These panels could either be re-fitted in a wall or else adapted with hinges to be used as a pair of French doors or possibly bi-fold doors to a study or dressing room. Once restored, they could look fabulous! They'd cost over £1,000 to make these days. Yours for £150 the pair. Very heavy and collection only from Woodhall Spa.
