East Sussex, UK - Gold has always been used for Christmas decorations and has been a gift of choice for many but it has also become the optimistic current design trend. The inspirational design blog, Two Bassets and a Baby found gold everywhere at the Autumn 2017 design fairs. It is both beautiful and gives us feelings of happiness, denotes wealth and is even symbolic of wisdom. Michelle Ogundehin goes on to say this makes gold a 'perfect aesthetic antidote to our strident times.' See the link to her blog below.

Interiors can embrace gold in lighting, taps, wallpapers, fabrics, mirrors, furniture and accessories. Mix gold with brass for a softer look. Opt for just a touch or go for floor to ceiling but do not feel guilty just enjoy discovering your bling!
