Modern design sales starting at Dawson's under Mark Hill

Berkshire, UK - Dawson's has announced that Mark Hill is joining the team as a specialist consultant. He will be holding biannual modern and contemporary design auctions, starting on 2nd December, and a specialist valuation day every month at Dawson's Berkshire saleroom.

A lifelong collector, Mark Hill began his career as a porter and junior cataloguer at Bonhams London, before moving to Sotheby's, and starting a Mark Hill Publishing in 2006. He has now published 12 books on new areas of C20th Design. He also co-wrote the Collectables Price Guide with Judith Miller from 2002-17. Hill has been an expert on the BBC Antiques Roadshow and co-presented four TV series on antiques, collecting and interior design for BBC2.

"I'm thrilled to be returning to the auction world with Aubrey Dawson and his team and can't wait to get my teeth into our first auction," he said.
