3 Stained Glass windows in the original window panes. I had these removed from my home as they wernt practical for the home. However i was sorry to see these goes - the design is simple, effective and very beautiful. This design was unique to the 2 sets of semis thats were built in 1908.  FOR SALE : STAINED GLASS WINDOWS AND DOOR ENTRANCE
A beautiful entrance hallway door, side and above door windows in a lemon stained glass colour. This was taken out of my parents home and replaced by a nasty double glazed units - yuk!
Whilst the galziers were taking this out - unfortnuately they were unable to save or salvage the wooden frame - however the picture shows how it would look or did look if you decide to use this.
The door is fully intact and undamaged. All the original stained glass windows are all encapsulated (sandwiched between 2 panes of claear glass), however when teh glaziers were removing these three of the glass panels cracked. Thank fully the original stained glass wasnt damaged and is still intact. The double glazed units, the ones that are cracked can easily be reglazed. This is a buetiful piece and one that would adorne and look proud in any home with charachter.
I havent the exact measurements but will supply these on request. This unit was from a home that was built in 1904, and is in excellent condition. there are also no cracks, breaks or chips from what i am aware of to the original stained glass. The original stained glass can also be easily removed from the double glazed units.
I live clsoe to all the motorway netwoks and am only minutes away from teh airmort and city centre Manchester.

I cannot be sure of their age, but these reclaimed windows frames & panes are old and would suit a renovation project on an old house, which is how we acquired them.
Approx 20 iron framed leaded glass window frames. Most are diamond patterned glass, a few are rectangular pattern. They have iron hinges and some have iron window furniture.
Approx 15 leaded glass panels only (no frame) - some diamond, some rectangle pattern glass.
Sizes - a mixture of 36 x 20 inches and 25 x 20 inches
Some panes are cracked or damaged but aren't beyond repair.
Obviously these windows are in aged condition.

 FOR SALE : STAINED GLASS FRENCH WINDOWS & DOORS ENTRANCE This item is a one-off and never to be repeated. This was designed for the house i have recently purchased, which when built around 1908 and there are only 4 homes of the same charachter. The house was originally lavished with Stained glass windows throughout and these windows were designed for only this house. Sadly i have had to have these removed because of an extension to the existing property.
The Windows themselves i would say are generally in a good to excellent condition for its period, they are all encased in metal and not wood - therefore extremely heavy. There is some damage to the windows, but thankfully these are only to the clear glass rectangle pieces of glass which can easily be replaced. There is also one small piece of plain obsecure glass also cracked - but i have a similar matching piece that would complement this and go in its place.
The heavy metal french door, for some reason was welded together, however this can easily be sawn off/unwelded or heated up to move the welding in a couple of places. I think this was done by the last owner because the lock is either broken or there is no key available because it was lost - however a conventional 5 lever lock will fit in its place, as this is what is currently there.
I have had this valued prior to it being removed, and i was told that this would fetch in the region of between £4500 - £5500 if this was in perfect condition.
I am therefore aware of the work that needs to be done to bring this back to scratch, mainly confined to replaceing 11 pieces of oblong clear glass and unwelding the door and putting a new lock on. Otherwise this is a huge heavy ornate piece with beautiful iris flowers. I have never seen any item remotely as big or similar to this at all.
I had originally wanted the stained glass to be encapsulated, however this could not be done without having to lose some of the design and pattern and compromising the actual original design. I therefore had this copied and as you can see form the pictures, this is not remotely similar or as beautiful. Also considerable peices of the original stained glass had to be omitted from the design as this could not be fitted into the extension place.
Thr price i am looking for this is a reasonable price, it is afterall a unique and huge item that will never be repeated again as this is a one-off design only to this home. At a baragin price of £800 this is a steal for someone. Contact : R. Din, Lancashire, UK. Tel: 07961 & 753 611. Price : £800
