FOR SALE : LINDEN WOOD 3" THICK X 4-10" WIDE X 6FT LONG
I dont know where these came from, but they have been kiln dried. We put a moisture meter in them and they are at 8%. The material planes out very white (whiter than ash) and is normally about 40 per cube. Just want to get rid of them and happy to have 16per cube to see them gone. No idea what they were for. Linden is what they make picture frames out of and also venetian blinds. Very light weight but strong wood. Would make great tables, doors? Put it to use! They are old, I dont know if they are reclaimed but they have 30 years of dust on them!

Taken from restoration of our 17th century house, the following oak timbers are available.
1. Sill beam 8"x8"x12'6"
2. Stud beams 5off 6"x9"x6'6"
3. Rail beams 12off 2'6"x6"x4"
4. Projecting jetty sill (poor condition)
Most of beams have mortice & peg holes, with some nails - but timber sound.
Timber had to be removed because poor repairs in 1930's had removed most end joints with nails.
Prefer to sell as job lot for £250 (ono) but could split.
