 FOR SALE : GREENHEART TROPICAL HARDWOOD TIMBER - £5 PER CUBIC FOOT! We have approximately 4,300 Cubic Feet (12.25 Cubic Metres) of reclaimed Greenheart tropical hardwood for sale, this is a South American wood of incredible density, and incredible strength and resistance to rot. It is used to create sea defences, support docks and harbours, and in the right place is an exceptionally functional and attractive support material or feature beam in homes, display premises, period properties, historically themed locations and more.
It is one of the handful of woods that sink in water, as it weighs more than 1 ton per cubic metre.
There are 40 pieces altogether, mostly around 12" x 12" in cross section and ranging from 7ft to 18ft in length. The timbers are all sound and solid all the way through.
There are a number of beautiful character ends and some lovely weathering to the sides of certain pieces. The majority of timbers have straight-sawn sides and ends.

It is made of pine wood and was build in 1860. there are a lot of wood and the biggest beams are more than 8 meter long and 25 x 25 cm thick (you will have to calculate that into foot yourselves). and the condition of the wood is very good.
Of course there are also some wood flooring and roof beams etc.

FOR SALE : BEAUTIFUL LARGE RECLAIMED PINE BEAM This is a large pine beam probably pitch pine. Dimensions - width = 11" x 9", length = 92" (2.33 metres). I bought it from a salvage yard covered in moss etc. I believe it to be quite old. I had it sand blasted and have used half in my building project. The other half is for sale. the peice in the photo is the half I have used. This has been simply sprayed with oil to show the beautiful patina in the wood. The half for sale is ready for oiling or sanding and waxing as you choose. It has been outside covered in plastic so would need to fully dry out before treating. Please come to look before buying. Transporting this will have to be arranged by buyer. Price : £125.00
