No makers label ( probably worn off ) however a familiar model. Produced by Guy Rogers and designed by Eric Pamphillon, the model was the "Santa Fe". Fair to say the design was heavily influenced by Finn Juhl and this could be described as a loose interpretation of the " Bwanna Chair".
In its own right, relaxed and stylish. Guy Rogers were heavily influenced by the Danish movement and were producing furniture of the style in direct competition. This sofa typifies that trend. Guy Rogers seating, now recognised with a strong following of its own, are in demand, the escalating prices reflect this.
This example, with its easy form and mood setting bottle green quality leather is now staring its 40th birthday full in the face. In good, untouched, vintage condition, showing only the honest signs of everyday use not abuse. Quite the genuine article.
