This is a really beautiful street lamp lantern with cobalt blue, milk glass, and clear glazing as shown in the photograph.
It retains its original spun copper finial, decorative corner pieces, and pierced copper frieze around the top.
This lantern is in lovely condition, with no visible damage or losses other than to one small D section of the decorative freize.
It comes complete with its wrought iron cage, which is ready to be bolted to a lamp base, and the lantern will then drop snugly into its protective cage.
Worthy of note is the lovely ball endedcopper catch which secures the opening window in the lamp.
It came to us with its cast iron street lamp, which is also available seperately, but has suffered some damages, although these could be repaired. The base was produced by the Whiteheads Foundry in Weymouth, and is of a typically ornate Victorian barleytwist design.
Please note that this is a Genuine Victorian Lantern, not an inferior reproduction item.

A glorious ancient oak studded door which would make a perfect feature door for an old property.
It is constructed from vertical oak planks to the front, and horizontal planks to the inside, all held together with handmade rose headed nails, bent over and clasped to the inside, and the original hand forged strap hinges are still in place.
There have been significant repairs to this door, but judging by the colour of the timber, and the heavy studs on the outside face of the door, these were probably carried out at least 200 years ago, and actually add to the charm of the door.
The dimensions are 890mm by 1890mm.

This really is an impressive piece of furniture, and would look perfect in a large farmhouse kitchen or Dining Hall.
The top is constructed from 3 wide boards of solid beech with a beautiful rich, mellow colour, and has been polished to produce a lovely warm glow.
The supporting structure of the table is all of solid pine construction, with substantial turned legs.
The overall dimensions are as follows 12 feet long by 41 inches wide, and 31.5 inches tall, with 24 inches of available legroom under the side and end rails.

Late 50's,Uldum Mobelfabrik,Tambour Door Teak Sideboard,( Johannes Andersen )
With such names as Johannes Andersen designing for them, Uldum Mobelfabrik were manufacturers of note and produced top quality furniture for many decades.
This sideboard, tip - toeing from the 50's to the 60's is a big bold, well crafted, early example of the Danish modern movement.
