These are superb quality handles and extremely tactile.
They have mercury mirrored centers, and are best suited to mortise locks.
They come complete with grub screws, connecting bars and collars. The collars have been lightly polished, but will completely re-tarnish within a year, if that's the look you prefer.
Each has a diameter of 5.5cm (2.25") and they will project 5.5cm (2.25") from the door.
Condition: 3 pairs are excellent, with the remaining pair having a chip to the bottom of one knob & a few knocks to the other - position these to the bottom of the door and they won't be seen.

C1950. Marked: "Planet JR. Made in the United States of America. Marca Deposee. M. Ind. rgtrda No 17269. De 8 de Octobre 1919. Marcade Fabrica."
Height to top of handles 890mm. Total length approx 1500mm. Diameter of large wheel 390mm.
The handles are made from ash with steam bent ends and the wooden cross bar is hickory.
The main frame is bent and shaped from a steel bar with the handles attached with coach bolts and is a small bracing strip to each side.
In great condition, all parts seem to be in working condition. There's a little surface rust on the hopper, but nothing to worry about.
Comes complete with original instructions!!

These eight sided knobs have a very unusual etched line pattern running down the sides, that I've never come across before, perhaps they were commissioned by an extremely wealthy Lord or Lady! They have polished flat tops and a sparkling mercury flower design to the center.
It's very rare to come across such a large matching set, especially in such fantastic sparkling condition.
The collars are brass with a thin layer of dull chrome which is beautifully worn through in places. I have left them unpolished, but they will polish up beautifully, if that's the look you prefer.
They come complete with the original grub screws and connecting bar. Best suited to mortise locks, but can be used on rim door locks, depending on personal preference.

Six pairs of elegant antique cut glass egg door handles, these are incredibly rare and so hard to come by, especially in such a large matching set.
They have wonderfully sparkling mercury mirrored centers and cut glass star faces.
These are best suited to mortise locks.
The brass collars have been left unpolished, but will shine up beautifully, if that's the look you prefer.
They come complete with the original grub screws and connecting bar.
They are very substantial, weighing 540g per pair.
Each measures 7cm high by 4.5cm wide and will project 6cm from the door.
Condition: All but two are excellent, without damage, just a couple of tiny flea bites. One pair has some chipping to the cut glass area, but this isn't sharp and won't be noticeable once fitted.
Manufactured circa 1900, probably not in the UK.

 FOR SALE : 2 PAIRS OF INCREDIBLY ORNATE ANTIQUE CUT GLASS DOOR HANDLES Two pairs of incredibly ornate antique cut glass door handles, these are incredibly rare and so hard to come by.
They have mercury mirrored centers and an intricate cut glass pattern, which gives them an incredible sparkle.
These are suitable for either mortise or rim locks.
The brass shanks have been left unpolished, but will shine up beautifully, if that's the look you prefer.
They come complete with the original grub screws and connecting bar.
Each measures 6cm (2.5") across and they will project 6cm (2.5") from the door.
Condition: Excellent, there is some very light signs of wear, but this gets completely lost within the intricate cut pattern and will not be noticeable once they are in situ.

An incredibly rare pair of deep purple, almost black coloured hand cut Victorian glass door knobs circa 1800. The photographs really don't do this handle any justice, it is simply stunning.
They will fit either rim or mortise locks.

Each measures 5.5cm (2.25") across and they will project 5.5cm (2.25") from the door.
