Good colour which does not show very well in my photo's.

Condition report: Solid and original. Some wear and patchiness to the seat cushion but no tears or splits.

 FOR SALE : TALL ANTIQUE VICTORIAN OAK BOOKCASE ON CABINET The glazed bookcase with carved cornice top encloses three shelves. The base has a solid top over a large frieze drawer. Below are two cupboard doors enclosing a further shelf. Retains original brass handles and keys. Stands on a plinth base with turned bun feet.
Condition Report: Solid and original through out. Small piece of moulding missing from bottom of right support but nothing that detracts from the piece.

 FOR SALE : ORNATE FIRE SURROUND AND OVER MANTLE late 19c,early 20c beautiful beechwood fire surround and mantle with walnut tapering turnings,this is a highly decorative and extremely well crafted fire surround with a matching overmantle witch houses 3 mirrors,one central and two smaller to the left and right side.all the turnings support various sized display shelves from the bottom of the fire surround to th top of the overmantle. the item for sale was reclaimed from a timber clad village hall local to our area.the building itself didnt start out at this location , it was infact one of a number of similar timber clad buildings constructed by the americans during ww2 to be used as a field hospital.after the war some of this buildings were sold by the m.o.d ,mainly to local demolition so the the timbers could be used else where.this one however was purhased by a local village parish and was dismantled on site ,transported and re erected on its new site for use as the village hall witch we have been informed was actually the old american officers mess and came complete with this advertised fire place,allthough it did come to us painted jet black we decided to strip it back to th natural wood.sizes2210hgt.1640w.opening970by970 Contact : SEMLEY RECLAMATION, Dorset, UK.
