 FOR SALE : 4 PAIR ANTIQUE VICTORIAN BRIGHT GLASS DOOR HANDLES FOUR pairs of simple but elegant antique collared glass door handles, these are very rare and don't come up often.
These are superb quality handles and extremely tactile.
They have mercury mirrored centers, and are best suited to mortise locks.
They come complete with grub screws, connecting bars and collars. The collars have been lightly polished, but will completely re-tarnish within a year, if that's the look you prefer.
Each has a diameter of 5.5cm (2.25") and they will project 5.5cm (2.25") from the door.
CONDITION: 3 pairs are excellent, with the remaining pair having a chip to the bottom of one knob & a few knocks to the other - position these to the bottom of the door and they won't be seen.
These handles are truly stunning and very rare.

Very probably the most desirable manufacturers on the current English 20th century market would be, Merrow Associates. The more difficult pieces to locate would be the cabinet pieces, particularly in rosewood.
A neatly sized and precisely designed piece with the cutting edge combination of flat bar chrome and rosewood. Something of a luxury piece, the cocktail cabinet is that little extra which forgoes the practicalities of life, to suggest a slightly more boastful existence.
Richly coloured & highly figured rosewood covering doors sides and top. Quality flat bar chrome base. Thick tinted glass lower shelf. Interior of drawers, thick glass adjustable shelves, glazed serving slide and all in a sassy, contrasting pale sycamore.
Presenting itself in good original condition, sharp clean and ready to go.
On closer, nit picky inspection, there are one or two areas of age related wear and tear. None of which detract or are of any real concern.
