6 panel, quarter sawn English oak in very good condition.
Double tenoned on the middle and bottom rails.
With original oak architrave.
The door was originally made in 2 pieces and joined together down the central beading. This could be separated to form a pair of doors.
Honningham Hall was built in 1605 and refurbished in Georgian times. It was then demolished in 1960 and these doors have been in storage since then.
Architrave: 55.5" width,91" architrave height. Depth 65mm outer, 25mm
Door: 41 3/4" width, 83" height. Depth 45mm.

 FOR SALE : 4 VICTORIAN CAST IRON COLUMNS, PERGODA 8'+ HIGH A set of four (see below) Victorian cast iron columns in excellent condition and currently used to support a Japanese style pagoda made of pitch pine.
Each has a hexagonal foot above a square base plate, with a plain column rising to 3 ft before continuing in tapered , reeded form to a simple classic egg and dart moulding beneath the capitol. The columns are undamaged and stand 8'4" high.
The base plate is 13" square, the hexagonal foot is 10" across and the top, 9". The column tapers from 7" to 5 ½" dia.
2 are now Sold. so only 2 available. 23.11.09
We are asking £850 for each column and the pagoda roof will be included free if wanted.
