 RECRAFT : ELM AND OAK 18TH CENTURY STYLE CANOPY DRESSER Handmade from reclaimed elm and oak this type of dresser with a deep canopy top were popular during the first half of the 18th century.The brass handles have been cast in the traditional way using the lost wax method. This lovely small dresser has been oiled and waxed a time consuming process but far superior to modern fast lacquer finishes.  RECRAFT : FRENCH STYLE PANELLED TAPERED LEG TABLE MADE IN PINE This interesting table has been hand made using old reclaimed pine.
The tapered legs are joined by deep recessed panelled sides with applied mouldings inset into the panelling.There are two dovetailed drawers one at each end of the table with mouldings to match the sides.It has a four planked top with bread board ends (cleated) mortised tenon and pegged. We have measured 20 boards and the average size is 10½" wide & 1" thick
The boards all measure between 7ft and 13ft long

 RECRAFT : FOR SALE: GOOD QUANTITY OF VICTORIAN PINE BOARDS For Sale a good quantity of Victorian pine boards taken from each side of over a century old beams. These beams are from the world famous 'Bombardier Locomotive Works' in Doncaster, where famous trains such as 'The Mallard' and 'Flying Scotsman' were built, and is now sadly demolished.
We have converted these beams into original-looking, natural aged patina floorboards, which can only be matched by early original floorboards.
