Largest antiques market in Europe, possibly the world. It is located in the streets in the commune of Saint Ouen north (and some south) of the Porte de Clignancourt exit on the Peripherique (the Paris ring road), both in shops, as well as many purpose built market trading areas. Traditionally the market is open on Sundays, but normally trading commences on Friday and continues through to Saturday and Sunday. Many standholders have alternative premises outside Paris. Where known we have marked these on entries. It is impossible to visit the entire market in one day. Many premises are tucked away and can only be discovered with the aid of a knowledgeable guide. There are most certainly many more relevant dealers than we have listed here.
