 WANTED : PERIOD CAST IRON FIREPLACE INSERT
Hello,
We require a cast iron fireplace insert similar to that shown, to fit within an existing surround. The insert needs to have external dimensions 760 mm (30 in) wide by 890 mm (35 in) high. Ideally, the style should match the photo. as closely as possible, including accommodation for tiles. The condition of the cast iron needs to be excellent. The condition of the tiles is not critical.

We have a very similar fireplace to this one in excellent condition,& are interested in selling it whole or in separate pieces. The cast iron canopy has an embossed fan-like design, slightly more delicate and elaborate than the one above, but a close cousin of yours! The dimensions of the insert between the pillars are 35 inches wide, by 38 inches high. Not sure how I can send you a photo if you are interested, except by advertising it on the site as up for sale.
