 FOR SALE : ART DECO LARGE SHADE AND LAMPSTAND This is a really lovely and hard to find lampshade.....it is 18 inches square and 15 inches in depth. Made from a pliable plascic material common to the era.There are relief pictures of saling ships on the side , again typical of the art deco era. The shade is stitched together and is in excellent condition. The tassels are in good condition but some have been cut off where they had dropped..really not noticeable but should be mentioned. The lamp stand is metal and is gold painted.this looks original paint but I could not say for certain..the stand is in very good condition overall but the paint is a bit scraped in places just with being moved around. buyer would have to collect preferably as I really would not know how to pack it......for sale as shade only or lamp and shade..same price obviously..but as I love the shade I think someone else may just want the shade too.I would pack the shade at the buyers expense but with no profit to me. A set of six chandeliers of simple design with black and gilt steel rings each with 4 hanging matt white opal glass tapering cylindrical shades with metal galleries.Plus two single shade fittings(see photo).All very good quality,complete and in working order.The cables are all modern and earthed and and the height is adjustable;currently the fittings could extend to a maximum height of approx. 7 feet or be shortened to whatever height required by shortening the cables.Dimensions in inches; upper steel rings are 6.5 diameter by 2 high, lower rings are 24.5 by 2, shades are 11 high including galleries and 4 maximum width.

C1970 Large vintage Italian, hand blown Egg Lamp by Reggiani
Eo Italiano, mi chiamo egg. With something of an obsession with eggs going on over the sixties and seventies, from the egg man to the egg chair, this piece fits neatly in the period. Continuing the theme in a quiet, calmly stunning manor the light should be viewed as a good find for both the interior designer and collector alike.
Condition:
Glass: There are a couple of short light scratches on the exterior glass shade. These are difficult to find.
Chrome: In good condition with mild pitting on close inspection. The interior of the base is coated in white and has some wear to edges
Wiring: Original and working but we would suggest a safety check.
Labelled: Reggiani, Italy.
