Dear Sirs,
I am pleased to offer you the following, available for inspection in Drogheda by appointment.
These stones are originally the walls of Loughcrew House, Co Meath, which was built on lands confiscated from the Plunkett family and given to the Nappers. Loughcrew House burned down three times and was rebuilt twice.
The stones were bought from John Napper in the early 80’s and were subsequently laid down as paving in part of a commercial development which has been closed to the public for several years.
Each piece is approximately 10” wide, 38” long and between 10” and 15” deep.
Approximate details are:
Total Number: 470 pieces.
Total sq ft: 1857
The current owner is planning to have them lifted in early2006 and is offering them for sale on the basis of FOT Drogheda.
