The colour varies from a pale tan to a biscuit colour with a darker grain configuration running through the grain this is very distinctive of mapel.
As for the blocks they are well engineered and of good quality they do have the old varnish on them but this will be removed once sanded.
The blocks measure 230mm long x 65mm wide x 20mm deep.
