We understand these are from one room, but have made no attempt to check the completeness. Widths vary from 6 - 14", mostly around 12". Lengths from 80-240 cm most 1.3-2.4 m Thickness is around 2 cm. These are in sound condition with the usual end splits and worm. Very rare to find boards this wide. Most retain some original patination and just require waxing, as the sample board. It's the original floor of an unusually large first floor ballroom. Beautiful old pine in very long strips up to 4m long. Total area approx. 47sqm
Each plank 22 mm thick. 165mm wide. Lengths vary. Most approx 4m.
There are damaged boards but at least 85% of them are fine. Of the damaged ones, none are split but just damaged at ends, so you can cut them down and have perfect boards. Probably more than 95% of this 47 sqm (approx.) surface area is usable.

Bitumen removed from the rear of the blocks leaving a light staining on the rear of the block, T&G or sides roughly cleaned and the original layer of varnish/wax/grime sanded of leaving you with a clean block to work with.
Simply receive your flooring, let it acclimatise in the building it's being fitted to. All you have to do is have it fitted, sand it and then apply the finish to it.
Save days and days or even weeks and weeks of time by buying your flooring prepared and ready to fit.

Description of the product you are purchasing:
Reclaimed French Elm woodblock parquet flooring. This flooring has had the bitumen removed from the rear leaving o thin black layer of staining and the original layer of varnish previously on the face has been roughly sanded off. You are purchasing a reconditioned parquet flooring block that is without the work that that's usually involved with reclaimed parquet flooring.

What is required of these blocks once they are fitted?:
A light sanding to smooth over the surface and then the floor will require a finish to go on it; this can be varnish, stain, wax or lacquer.
Please always seek advise from a qualified fitter as to suitability.
Please remember that this is reclaimed flooring that you are buying, it is not new and may require some if only little preperation before fitting. There will be an element of dust that is created when you sand the fitted flooring. Please expect the room you are fitting these blocks in, to be out of use for a number of days at a time throught the fitting and finishing process.
Delivery/Collection
You will receive these blocks palliated. If you would like to collect them we can stack them in small bundles for you so they are easy to handle and fit in your vehicle. We can also deliver in person if you are close to us or we can send with a pallet company. The cost of delivery via a pallet company will be in the region of £45-£70 per pallet.
