STOLEN : C1200 BRONZE DOOR HANDLE
Stolen from Leeds, West Yorkshire, England on 16 September 2002.

A bronze circular door knob, the boss of a lion's head with a man's head in its mouth, retaining the circular handle, pull or knocker, all chased with tooled decoration on a decorated backplate with eight nail holes in it, cast in York c1200, approx diameter 10ins.

STOLEN : STOLEN MONUMENTAL BRASS EFFIGY
Stolen from Swainswick, Somerset, England in July 2002.

A very old monumental brass effigy of EDMUNDE FFORDE, died 1439, depicting a man praying with short hair, loose tunic with high collar, baggy sleeves, sword in a scabbard on his left side, standing on a grassy bank with clover-leaf plants, approx 25.5ins by 6.5ins (64cms by 16.5cms).
