WANTED : STEEL OR IRON FACTORY / BLAST DOORS, SOLID GATES We are a charitable organisation based in East London. We're restoring and upgrading our aged buildings with the aid of time, energy, effort and, err, basically no cash!
That notwithstanding, I wonder if anyone can help? We'd like to find some solid iron / steel plate doors. I'm not sure if I have the right terms to describe these, but I've seen similar in various Victorian warehouse buildings in the past. Basically solid metal, very heavy doors.
Most sizes can be accommodated, and we can collect and will travel for the right items. In the first instance perhaps you could email photos and details?

WANTED : 1950'S/1960'S GLASS FRONT DOOR We are looking for a glass front door with a wrought iron insert over the glass. Frame of the door should be wood. Often the glass was either reeded or patterned in some way. I think these kind of doors were around a lot in the 1950's & 60's. It is essential that the door is not new.
