 FOR SALE : 13 PAIRS OF ANTIQUE WOODEN BALL HANDLES A very rare opportunity to purchase a huge set of thirteen matching pairs of antique wooden door knobs and backplates.
They all have a wonderful patina and the wooden grain is gorgeous on every one. I have left them uncleaned, but have removed the odd paint spot.
I'm unsure of their age, but they definitely have an Arts & Crafts feel. I have left the copper shanks uncleaned, but they will polish up beautifully if that's the look you prefer.
They come complete with fixing bars, grub screws and 13 wooden backplates (4 styles, but all very similar).
Beautifully warm and tactile, each measuring 6cm (2.25") across and projecting 8cm (3.25") from the door.
These are suitable for either rim or mortise locks, but you will need extra backplates if fitting to mortise locks.
Condition: Excellent, without damage.

These match the larger set that I am selling and are ideal for your bathroom, or ensuite as they have nickel shanks.
They have mercury mirrored centers and an intricate cut glass pattern, which gives them an incredible sparkle.
These are best suited to mortise locks, but will fit on rim locks depending on personal aesthetic preference.
The nickel shanks have been left unpolished, but will shine up beautifully, if that's the look you prefer.
They come complete with the original grub screws and connecting bar.
Each measures 5.5cm (2.25") across and they will project 7.5cm (3") from the door.

 FOR SALE : A PAIR OF OAK INDUSTRIAL HALF-GLAZED DOORS Heavy duty pair of solid oak doors, ready for glazing.
Salvaged from an early C20th factory, these are dark, hard and heavy, with a few old scars in keeping with their industrial environment.
This is the last pair from a large fast-selling batch. Other pairs have been stripped with a non-caustic technique and bleached to give a lighter cleaner oak colour, which can be done for an additional £150.

 FOR SALE : ARCHED VICTORIAN PUB DOOR WITH ETCHED GLASS Stripped pine door, suitable for interior or exterior use, reclaimed from a Victorian pub recently demolished in Hanley, Stoke on Trent.
The exterior has raised panels framed with heavy mouldings, the interior has simpler mouldings within the panel.
The arch is a shallow four inches, not too difficult to frame. The door's long history has featured a variety of lock changes, these have all been nicely patched with matching timber, in antiquity and recently.
The glass is robust and undamaged, both vertical panes are identical, decorated with a mixture of etching and engraving, bearing the word 'Snug'. The top panel is an old moulded starburst effect. All panes are fixed by pine mouldings.
