WANTED : MANTLE TOP (SHELF) REQUIRED
I have recently bought 2no cast iron Victorian fireplaces off Ebay, but both are missing the flat mantle shelf that screws to the top. (I presume they must have been damaged when the fireplaces were ripped out of their original positions.)
Each would need to be approx 38 inches long, and about 6 inches wide/deep. I'm not looking for anything fancy, either in material or design, but just something to fit back to the fireplace to complete it. I am not necessarily looking for cast iron, and have even considered wood. There are 2 small bolts fixed to the rear of the fire, into which any future mantle can be screwed.
